Rail Spur from CN’s Main Line

The 3 kilometre rail spur provides access to the CN main line enabling extraction of product from the quarry to market.

Land & Sea Access

Deep sea ports are located both in Kitimat and Prince Rupert and are a potential economical option for shipping goods across the ocean to world markets, California or even Vancouver, where construction demands are always present for quality rock product.

Convenient Access & Efficient Transportation

The quarry's convenient location means customers save dollars on transporting product closer to project sites. The Trans Canada Highway, Hwy 16, connects Prince Rupert with Prince George and moves east to Edmonton, Alberta connecting the rest of Canada.

About Us

Kalum Quarry Ltd. Partnership is owned by the Kitsumkalum, a Galts’ap (community) of the Tsimshian Nation.  The quarry produces various sizes of aggregate and gravel for both industrial and residential projects.  Finer materials produced can also be used in making concrete.

Aggregate Products

We provide a wide array of rock sizes for various project requirements for production of large riprap to concrete to construction aggregate products.
